This set of commands I find very useful as I am sure we have all been there when we are working on a access-list remotely and you lock yourself out (Doh!) but if you are working on a router remotely and you think you could end up locking yourself out why not schedule a reboot to take place in XX minutes.

You can schedule a reload to happen at a specific time of day or date (reload at) or even in a specific interval (reload in):

Reload at X

Router# Reload at 23:30

Router# Reload at 23:45 10 Feb reason Because I can

Reload in X

Router# Reload in 01:30

Reload Cancel (just encase you do need to cancel a scheduled reload)

Router# Reload Cancel

Show Reload

Router# Show Reload
