There could be multiple contributors to the above problem but If you have applied .NET Framework 4.5.1 recently, you can work around this issue by modifying the Remote Web Access web.config file using the following steps:

1. Edit (via Notepad) the file called web.config located in C:Program FilesWindows Small Business ServerBinWebAppRemoteAccess

*Note – Take a copy of web.config just in case!

2. Find the line (near the bottom):
<serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled=”true” />

3. Replace with:
<serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled=”true” minFreeMemoryPercentageToActivateService=”0″ />

4. Save the file

5. Start Command Prompt (with Administrator rights) and type: IISRESET

6. Reload your site and thats it!
